Terminal Numbering
The Terminal Numbering sub menu allows you to automatically number all terminals in your project.
Numbering Format
| Format | Description |
|---|---|
| Alphanumerical | Allows letters in numbering |
| Numerical | Numeric values only; PE and N terminal settings do not affect numbering |
Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Starting value | The first number assigned to all terminal strips |
| Increment | The increment applied between terminal numbers |
Scope Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| All terminals of selected strips or pages | Numbers terminals on selected pages, HLAs, or LODs |
| All terminals of all strips | Numbers all terminals in the entire project (strips are not renamed) |
| Number only terminals between HLAs or LODs | Numbers only interconnection terminals between panels |
| All strip designations | Numbers terminal strip names only |
Method Options
| Method | Description |
|---|---|
| Normal | Terminals numbered according to drawing order |
| Page specific | Starting value resets for each page |
| Cable specific | Terminals with cable assigned based on conductor color/number; others numbered conventionally |
| Level oriented | Terminals of the same strip numbered to reflect level relationships |
| Renumber all | All terminals numbered from scratch based on value fields |
PE and N Terminal Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Do not change | Preserves existing PE and N terminal names |
| Number these too | Includes PE and N terminals in the numbering sequence |
