Create Window Macro

When this command is started, the cursor shows an orange flag. Specify the desired part of the screen to capture.

After specifying the screen area, a dialog appears where you can enter the macro name and the strip or group it will be saved into.

The insertion point of the macro is the intersection of the leftmost and uppermost symbols — not the selected area itself.

Notes

  • Multiple macros with the same name (same or different type) can be created.
  • New strips can be created and existing ones deleted using the [New] and [Delete] buttons. Caution: deleting a strip also deletes all macros saved under it.
  • Strip hierarchies can be nested at any level without limitation.
