Backup

COFASO allows you to back up projects, macros, parts, and symbol files — including all substructure and superstructure data — directly within the system without using external tools.

How to Create a Backup​

  1. Select the item type to back up (e.g. Project).
  2. Click the [...] button to select the save directory.
  3. Enter a file name. The system automatically assigns the .EBK extension.
  4. Click [Apply] to start the backup.
  5. The message "Completed backup!" confirms success.

Recommended naming convention: Use the project name, current date (YYYY-MM-DD format), and time in the file name.

It is strongly recommended to back up projects and substructural data regularly to prevent data loss.
